Family-Owned Business Needed New Space To Grow Into The Digital Age
Sterling Cut Glass has a sparkling reputation in Greater Cincinnati, known for engraved crystal glassware, awards and other unique gift items. With a history dating back as far as 1902, the company needed a new facility to help grow its business and accommodate online sales.
Al. Neyer was chosen to help Sterling Cut Glass transition from a retail model to focus on customized online orders from around the country. Al. Neyer used its design-build method to create a new 56,000 square foot warehouse and office facility as well as a showroom space to display merchandise. The expansion brought with it 75 employees and allowed Sterling Cut Glass to grow its golf and corporate recognition divisions.
Construction on the Northern Kentucky project began in August 2014, and the Al. Neyer project team completed construction in summer 2015.
Our project required a quick turnaround, and after meeting with the Al. Neyer team, we felt more confident about the company’s ability to complete in our time frame versus a competitor. The Al .Neyer group achieved all of the goals we set forth. I can’t be more complimentary about the entire Al. Neyer team.
