Shoals Technologies Group Invests $80M in Relocation to Shoals Way Industrial

Last week, TNECD shared exciting news that Shoals Technologies Group will invest $80 million over the next five years to expand its existing manufacturing and distribution operations to a new, larger location in Portland, TN. In this move, Shoals expects to create approximately 550 new jobs over the next five years in Sumner County. This relocation involves moving its manufacturing operations to a 638,000 SF plant at Shoals Way Industrial, a speculative industrial facility developed, designed, and built by our team.

We know what’s at stake when a company decides to make an investment like this, and we’re committed to delivering a best-in-class experience through the entire process (development, design and architecture, and construction) of new, ground-up commercial real estate projects. Our integrated team has worked together closely on Shoals Way Industrial as a speculative industrial opportunity, and now looks forward to tailoring the shell building to meet Shoals Technologies’ Tenant Improvement (TI) needs.
