Developer, Design-Builder Opens Nashville Office

Robert Gage Hired To Lead Real Estate Development Efforts In Southeast

Commercial real estate industry leader Al. Neyer has announced the opening of its third office, in Nashville, Tennessee, to bring a full range of real estate development solutions and design-build expertise to the growing market. The firm has hired Robert Gage III to serve as vice president of real estate development and launch Al. Neyer’s presence in the region.

“Middle Tennessee’s commercial real estate market is booming, and we know our blend of service and expertise will fill a void in the region,” says James T. For more than 120 years, Al. Neyer has offered a diverse set of real estate solutions for commercial clients. Established in 1894 and employee-owned since 2014, the company specializes in urban mixed-use developments and build-to-suit commercial spaces, including custom office spaces, medical office buildings, industrial facilities, and multi-unit residential. Al. Neyer has a strong reputation for its ability to collaborate and provide great value, high-quality and swift project delivery. Al. Neyer is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a second office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and serves a local, regional and national client base.

Gage has more than 20 years of sales and management experience with positions at firms including OakPoint Real Estate, Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate Services, and ProVenture Commercial Real Estate Services. He has negotiated more than 2.5 million square feet of lease and sales transactions valued in excess of $165 million. At Al. Neyer, he will be responsible for creating strategic business solutions and partnerships, representing the company’s integrated process, and growing Al. Neyer’s book of business in Nashville.

Neyer’s current and recent projects include Seven @ Broadway, a 15-story luxury apartment high rise tower and parking garage in Downtown Cincinnati developed by North American Properties and NorthPointe Group; Gaslight Manor, a 117-unit luxury apartment development near the University of Cincinnati developed by Gaslight Property; Sterling Cut Glass, a 56,000 SF corporate headquarters, production facility and warehouse in Erlanger, Kentucky; UC Health, a pair of matching 42,000 SF medical office buildings in Columbia Township, Cincinnati, and Florence, Kentucky; and Don’s Appliances, a 50,640 SF showroom, distributor center and service center in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania.

Gage has received a variety of industry and Greater Nashville accolades including a 2008 Top Heavy Hitter recognition by the Nashville Business Journal, the 2007 NAIOP Rising Star award, and the 2006 Horizon Award national recognition by Cassidy Turley.

Rob Gage has a Bachelor of Arts in political and economic philosophy from Wofford College and lives in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood with his wife, Angie, and four children.
