Al. Neyer Wraps Successful Campaigns for ArtsWave, Heart Mini

Al. Neyer is proud to celebrate the conclusion of two strong campaigns for ArtsWave and the American Heart Association’s Heart Mini Marathon. Our team raised nearly $8500 and $5000, respectively, for these two campaigns that both make a dramatic impact in the quality of life for people in Greater Cincinnati.

ArtsWave is the nation’s first and largest community campaign for the arts. The organization finished its annual community campaign in late April with a record-breaking campaign total of $12,500,053 to support local arts organizations, arts in education, and other programs that enhance the Tri-State’s cultural experience. Al. Neyer CFO Joe Fleming served as the executive champion for this year’s campaign, supported by employee coordinators Jeremy Michael, director, design-build, and Ken Berling, project manager.

This year’s Heart Mini Marathon was the 40th anniversary of the AHA fundraising event, and 41 Al. Neyer team members participated in the race, with an additional eight donating to the cause. EVP and Cincinnati Market Leader Dan Ruh led the effort as the executive champion, and Asset Management Analyst Erin Sharpe and Associate Project Manager, Real Estate Development Tim Broderick served as team captains.

As part of Al. Neyer’s sponsorship for the Heart Mini, the team was able to create a statue celebrating the Heart Mini’s 40th anniversary. The design team used their creative talents to develop and craft a statue that highlighted some of Al. Neyer’s projects located along the route of the marathon. The statue was displayed among others at the Duke Energy Center during the Heart Mini Expo.

Through the efforts of the Heart Mini, over more than $3 million was raised to aid in building healthier lives throughout the Cincinnati area and beyond.
