Al. Neyer today announced that Robert D. Fessler has been named Executive Vice President, Business Development, to help increase the firm’s presence in existing markets and lead strategic expansion efforts. His position is effective Monday, October 5.

Fessler is a senior commercial real estate executive with more than 25 years of development, acquisition and management experience. He has developed, acquired, or executed third-party real estate deals totaling more than half a billion dollars during his career. In his new role at Al. Neyer, he will be responsible for company-wide business development activities. This includes expansion of existing client relationships, as well as further penetration into the company’s current markets of Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Nashville. Fessler will also focus on continued geographic expansion. He will report to President and CEO Molly North.

“Bob shares a deep passion for winning, something that matches our culture at Al. Neyer,” says North. “We are excited to have him lead our business development team and aggressively grow our presence in other cities. Bob is tried and true, and will pick up our carefully developed strategy and execute it seamlessly.”

Fessler joins Al. Neyer after serving as CBRE’s managing director, responsible for the company’s operations in Cincinnati. Prior to that, he had executive management positions at firms in Cincinnati, Boston and Atlanta including Corporex Company, GID Investment Advisors, and Duke Realty Corporation.

“The entire Al. Neyer team is energized about the opportunities in our industry,” says Fessler. “They are a competitive group of people with a sterling reputation for service and developing trusted relationships. I can’t wait to dig in and help catapult the trajectory of this team.”

“Expanding our team with the addition of Bob is a game-changer for our company,” says North. “Bob marries strategic vision with flawless execution and joins a strong team that is poised for its next phase of growth.”

Fessler received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He lives in Indian Hill with his wife, Paula. They have four grown children.
