April 5, 2007 Al. Neyer appoints William L. Neyer executive vice president, Design-Build
Mr. Neyer replaces Christopher Knueven, who resigned. Knueven had been vice president, Design-Build, since 2004. Mr. Neyer became established as a knowledgeable resource of the design-build method of project delivery, a process that integrates design and construction from the project’s beginning. From 1994 until 2002, he was responsible for Al. Neyer’s complete portfolio of Design-Build projects, leading a team of architects, project managers and construction professionals. During that time, Al. Neyer’s construction group designed and built corporate headquarters and large regional distribution facilities for Luxottica Retail, Cintas, Meridian Diagnostics, Exel Logistics and Champion Window. “Bill’s depth of knowledge in design-build construction is invaluable for our clients,” according to David F. Neyer, president and chief executive officer. “Design-build requires intensive focus on a client’s needs, and a cross-disciplinary approach to team-building – Bill is uniquely qualified to do this.” Mr. Neyer serves on the board of trustees of University of Cincinnati’s Economic Center for Education and Research, and volunteers for numerous education and community organizations, including North Fairmont Community Center, where he joins his father, Ray Neyer, leading teams of volunteers to rehab houses. “Our design-build side of the house is poised to have a banner year, with significant construction projects primarily in Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania,” Bill Neyer says. “It’s great to be working directly with our talented group of construction and design professionals.” Al. Neyer current projects include Linden Pointe on the Lateral, Psion Teklogix, Cedar-Lee Parking Garage, Airside Business Park, Building 600 and Hubert Co. Mr. Neyer has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. He lives in Anderson Township with his wife, Karen, and their children.
