Daniel P. Ruh joins Al. Neyer, Inc. as Vice President, Real Estate Development
Cincinnati – Al. Neyer, Inc. has hired Daniel P. Ruh as Vice President, Real Estate Development. It is a position designed to fully utilize Mr. Ruh’s leadership ability and real estate expertise, honed principally during a successful 10-year stint at Duke Realty Corp. in Cincinnati.
In his role, Mr. Ruh is a member of Al. Neyer’s executive management team, and key to the company’s initiative to start new commercial development activity and increase market share along all business lines, according to David F. Neyer, president and chief executive officer of Al. Neyer, Inc., a 115-year-old commercial real estate development and design-build firm. After assuming positions with increased responsibility at Duke Realty, Mr. Ruh achieved the position of Senior Vice President, Cincinnati Operations, and industry recognition as a key dealmaker. At Duke, he managed a portfolio of property worth more than $800 million in office and industrial assets, and was ultimately responsible for its development, construction and leasing. During his tenure, he participated in notable developments including The Landings of Blue Ash, Mercy Health Partners’ corporate headquarters, Deerfield Crossing and Centre Pointe. Most recently in his career, Mr. Ruh was a Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Bear Creek Capital, a Cincinnati real estate development firm. “Dan Ruh is a great addition to Al. Neyer’s current Greater Cincinnati development projects include The Offices at 444 West Third Street, which will serve as U.S. headquarters for dunnhumby USA; Linden Pointe on the Lateral, a $105 million professional office campus in Norwood; Columbia Square, a $25 million mixed-use office and retail development at Delta Avenue and Columbia Parkway; East Pointe Building 200, a LEED-Silver Certified registered office building in Middletown near Atrium Medical Center; a six-story medical office building and six-level parking garage for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Avondale; The Herald Building, a three-story, mixed-use LEED-Silver certified registered building in Avondale. The company is currently leasing several of its development projects, such as Turnpike Distribution Center development, a 410,000-square-foot property outside Pittsburgh, and Evendale Healthcare Center.
Mr. Ruh earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Kentucky. He earned a Juris Doctorate with a Corporate Law concentration from University of Cincinnati, College of Law in 1997. He is a member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Board and lives in Fort Wright, Kentucky. |
