Surgery Center Sets New Standard
Patients requiring spine surgery and complex procedures for treatment of pain have traditionally required lengthy hospital stays. Encouraged by new procedures, The Mayfield Clinic in Cincinnati sought another option. The result is the region’s first freestanding ambulatory spine surgery and office center, built within the Cornerstone at Norwood office project. Working with Mayfield, developer Ackermann Group, and GBBN Architects, Al. Neyer designed and built a signature facility on the site that fronts Interstate 71.
The Mayfield Clinic welcomes patients through a large, open lobby, into treatment and postoperative areas that place a premium on comfort and privacy. The building’s exterior displays a combination of cast-veneer stone and wood veneer panels to create a distinctive and professional look.
"The Mayfield building is a beautiful, state-of-the art design that will make it a focal point of the Cornerstone Corporate campus"
Dobbs Ackermann, President
