Pittsburgh Developer Relies Once Again On Al. Neyer for Design-Build Services

Elmhurst Group was seeking a developer to create a flexible industrial building to add to the Airside Business Park, which sits on the site of the former Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal. Elmhurst has relied on Al. Neyer for several projects for its design-build expertise and concrete tilt-up knowledge, and chose Al. Neyer to take on this flex-shell space.

Architects are designing this project with a prospective tenant interested in a 50/50 blend of office-to-warehouse use. This traditional steel structure will include tilt-wall construction, as well as a decorative entrance with canopy design.

Crews incorporated build-in infrastructure within the base of the building, allowing for a more economical build-out for future tenants.

Construction started in May of 2015 and was completed in the third quarter of 2016.
