Cornerstone at Norwood
Urban Development – Mixed-Use – Office, Medical Office and Retail – Structured Parking

  • Two 142,000 square foot mixed-use office and retail buildings
  • 36,000 square foot ambulatory surgery center
  • 1,000-car parking garage
  • Water feature at main intersection
  • 5-acre urban site

Al. Neyer served as the design-build partner with developer Ackermann Group for Cornerstone at Norwood.  This major mixed-use project replaced a dozen older rental units on five acres in urban Norwood, Ohio.

Phase I and II office buildings each took just 12 months from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting.  Time saving innovations like pre-glazed window systems and architectural pre-cast wall panels helped us hit our developer partner’s deadlines.  The pre-cast garage went up in half the time of cast-in-place work.

Both phases opened 80% leased and were fully leased within three months.  The Mayfield Clinic is the third building on the Cornerstone at Norwood campus.  This ambulatory care center merits its own Portfolio page on our Web site.
